I was lucky enough to work with this gorgeous family, and we snuck in a family session when we met. They were super-sweet, and I had a blast with them. And can you believe that that’s the mom in the blue top??? And check out Connor’s truck–he (yes, the senior!) runs a landscaping business in Amherst. How cool is that?

Thank you so, so much to Dorrie, Connor, Katie, and Kelsey for all the laughs. Can’t wait for Katie’s session!

Those of you who know me know that I have a fairly artsy-fartsy background, and did a lot with dance and theater (as a performer!).

It’s a special, special treat for me to work with artists; and I was thrilled to work with Anna Dwyer, a local conductor, pianist, singer, and more–and also a heck of a great gal. If you have a few minutes, take a look at her work

I had a wonderful time with Anna–she’s a true sweetheart, and genuinely lovely. And her grand piano is pretty lovely, too.

I need to be better about blogging regularly because I LOVE sharing some of these gorgeous families with everyone. This little girl is stunning, and has a personality to match.

 She was such a good girl the whole time–so much fun!

And lots of laughs with her lovely moms, too. I watched them dote on her, and commented on how nice it must be to have two moms. They responded, “Yes, but some day someone’s going to wind up with two mothers-in-law!” Ha!

Long story short: pneumonia. Finally starting to get back to normal. I’ve still been plugging away in the background, but have let my blog and Facebook lapse. I am *so* glad spring is finally here!

Anyway, I’d like to share some images from a session I did awhile back…. For those of you who know me, you’ll understand why I *love* sessions with twins; and these baby girls couldn’t have been any cuter or sweeter. And their parents are absolutely wonderful, too!

You might remember them from waaayyyy back when I posted this:

And Mom and Dad were an absolute joy, too. So loving and kind.

Now, the truth about this session: it went wrong. Sometimes, things just don’t work out. As I was driving to meet them, I glanced at the external temperature lit up on the dashboard: 31. Uh oh. Kids don’t do too well when it’s too cold. We arrived at the same time, and decided to give it a shot, anyway.

Such gorgeous kids:

We tried to get them running around to keep them warm, which worked for a little while.

But, eventually, they got too cold, and we had to make the call. This pretty much sums up their feelings about being outside at that point:

(To be fair, this was a *completely* unintentional gesture–this kiddo is actually quite polite. But this picture still makes me laugh.)

So, we rescheduled, and hoped for a warmer day–which we got!

But I’m still going to share a couple of outtakes–I love catching stuff like this. The boys were actually fighting over their baby sister. How cute is that?

We got what we needed, though.
