T-Shirt dresses are one of my favorite pieces for Spring and Summer. They’re simple, comfortable, versatile, and (of course) affordable. So, today, I’m sharing 15+ plus ways to style a t-shirt dress. All of the t-shirt dresses shown here are from Target and Amazon and they’re all under $20. ***I tried to link anything I used for this styling session. However, because I only used items I already had, some of them are out of stock or no longer available. Similar alternatives are linked. One of the best things about a t-shirt dress? It’s such a simple item to style! Throw it on with a cute pair of sneakers or sandals, maybe add a hat or headband, and go! It’s one of my go-to outfits when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to comb through my closet deciding what to wear. ***Rainbow sneakers were a Wal-Mart find and are no longer on their website, so I linked another colorful pair from the same brand. Steve Madden sneakers tend to be sold out most of the time, but there is a similar pair available. T-shirt dresses are, as their name implies, basically long or over-sized t-shirts. Which means they don’t actually have a defined waist. But, with a little styling and accessorizing, you can give it a whole new look! Here are a few ways I like to add a little shape to my favorite t-shirt dresses. While t-shirt dresses are one of my go-to items for Spring and Summer, they’re also great to have on hand all year round. A little chilly outside? Throw on a cardigan! Want to dress it up a little? Add a leather jacket! Prefer to keep things casual? Go for a denim jacket! ***My knee-high Target boots are no longer available, a similar style of boot linked. Yellow chenille cardigan currently only available in black. One of the other things I love about t-shirt dresses? It’s so easy to give it a twist and make it totally your own style. Make it edgy with a band tee, boho with a kimono and hat, or sweet with a cute sweater. I love that I can take one item from my closet and create so many styles. ***Both graphic shirts are older Target finds but I linked a few of their current selections that I love. White Express sweater is one I’ve had for years and is not available, linked a similar one in the same fit. These styles just scratch the surface of possibilities for styling a t-shirt dress. You could also dress it up with a blazer and heels, take it into fall with a vest, or even use it as a cute swimsuit coverup at the beach! How would you style your t-shirt dress?
