Are you a budget-conscious fashionista planning a magical getaway? Whether you’re prepping for your very first visit or you’re a seasoned Disney-goer, one thing’s for sure: the quest for the perfect Disney outfit is always on! But hey, let’s be real – Disney magic doesn’t come cheap. But you shouldn’t have to miss out on wearing cute, Disney-themed outfits for that perfect Instagram photo. That’s why I’m sharing my favorite affordable places to shop for Disney outfits that’ll have you looking like a character straight out of a fairy tale without breaking the bank. From whimsical Minnie Mouse ears to princess dresses to fun graphic t-shirts, I’ve got you covered. So grab your pixie dust and join me as we uncover the best places to score budget-friendly Disney threads that’ll have you feeling like royalty on your vacation. Get ready to sprinkle some affordable magic into your wardrobe! If you’ve never been introduced to the magical land that is Five Below, you’re missing out! They’re a great spot to find affordable pieces for your Disney wardrobe as well as vacation necessities. Contrary to their name, sadly not everything in the store is less than $5. But, everything is super affordable. And you know what is only $5 (or $5.55 if you shop online)? Their graphic t-shirts! You can almost always find Disney themed graphic tees on their t-shirt wall or in their seasonal section. And not just the OG Disney characters and princesses but Star Wars and Marvel designs too! In fact, one of my favorite t-shirts is a retro inspired Marvel Avengers design I picked up from Five Below last year. A few other things I like to pick up for a low-low price from Five Below to throw in my park bag- travel sized sunscreen and sanitizer, emergency rain ponchos, and reusable water bottles. Oh, Target, I just can’t quit you…especially when you carry affordable clothes to take on a Disney vacation! Target also tends to carry Disney themed graphic t-shirts (psst…check the men’s section too!). But you can also find great shorts, skirts, and activewear pieces that would be perfect for putting together an outfit to wear in a theme park. Some Target stores also have dedicated “Disney Store” sections with affordable merchandise, accessories, and clothing items. Last holiday season, I even spotted seasonal Minnie Mouse ears on a display for around $10. Since these can run you $35 or more in the parks or through the Disney Store website, these can be a great find! Speaking of affordable mouse ears… Go check out the kid’s accessories section at your local Wal-Mart. I always see at least a few pairs of ears when I go and, while the quality isn’t as great, they’re pretty cute and super affordable. Of course, Wal-Mart always has Disney themed t-shirts in their clothing section as well as affordable clothing items to pair with them. And if you need a park bag, you can often find Disney themed mini backpacks in the accessories department. Of course when we’re talking about finding affordable outfits, we can’t forget about Amazon. You can find a ton of inexpensive ears, accessories, bags, t-shirts, and more. It’s also a great place to find those park bag necessities like handheld fans, emergency ponchos, and portable cell phone chargers. If you’re like me and love to create themed outfits for the park, Amazon can be a treasure trove of finds. Browse through some of my Disney outfit inspiration posts and you’ll see quite a few Amazon finds included. They can especially be good for finding items for very niche Disneybounds or themed outfits, like the ears I found for my ode to Dole Whip outfit. Another good spot for finding affordable outfit pieces to create a Disneybound or specific themed outfit. Forever21 carries a wide selection of merchandise so you’re bound to find a few things you need to complete your ensemble. And they carry a pretty extensive selection of plus size clothing so they’re a little more inclusive than some of the other retailers. They also almost always have some Disney collection or licensed Disney merchandise available. So you really could put together an entire affordable outfit here. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Tik Tok for more affordable fashion! And, if you’re looking for more tips on Disney World, check out my other posts!
