It’s that time of year again! Time for all things pumpkin, falling leaves, cozy sweaters, and apple cider. I started pulling out all my Fall home decor a couple of weeks ago and scrolling through Pinterest for some new inspiration. Second only to Christmas, Fall is my favorite time of year to decorate. And while I’m remaking some of my old decorations and adding in new pieces, I also did some hunting on Amazon for you! So whether you’re a traditionalist, a trend-setter, a girly-girl, a modern minimalist, or a lover of rustic style, I’ve pulled together some Fall home decor finds from Amazon to inspire you to start decorating for the second happiest time of the year! A more feminine take on Fall decor, blushed and rose tones are a rising trend this year. My take on this scheme would include tons of pink peonies, roses, and eucalyptus (which you can even find in pink!) mixed in with plenty of gold accents. It would also gorgeous with a pop of blue. Speaking of pops of blue, another huge trend this year has been pastel blue and green tones. Easily spotted in nearly every home decor or craft store, I love this palette if you’re looking for a bright, clean look. For greenery, I would use Lamb’s Ear for that softer color but eucalyptus would also be a pretty option. We’ve seen darker, moody colors rise in home decor popularity this year. And I think it would make for a unique, modern Fall decor scheme. Start with white and gold decor, and then add in a darker color fo your choice. For this inspo collage, I chose to use black, but it would also be stunning with charcoal gray, navy blue, or forest green. I’ve tried to branch out with my home decor this past year, but the Southern Belle in me will always love anything rustic or country farmhouse. And, let’s be honest, pumpkins, burlap, and buffalo check just look so right together. In addition to the thousands of items you can find to match this scheme on Amazon, it’s also found in pretty much every home decor and craft store. This scheme may be my favorite and the closest to the style I’m going for with my decor this year. Instead of an abundance of orange with a few green accents, this scheme does a color reversal. I like the idea of the green taking center stage with darker pumpkin and gourds and lots of greenery, and using orange for a fun pop of color. Last but not least, there’s nothing wrong with tradition. Nothing screams Fall more than pumpkins and maple leaves. In fact, this is pretty much what my decor looked like last year. It’s also by far the easiest decor scheme to execute as these colors are the most widely available. I couldn’t not add a note about adding a do-it-yourself touch to your Fall decor. For one thing, it’s an easy way to customize colors and textures to your liking. And it can be a much more affordable way to get a particular look. Plus, it’s fun. You can find bulk sets of white pumpkins like these on Amazon for painting at a much more affordable price than buying individual pumpkins that match your color scheme. (And as someone who’s been repainting all her multi-colored pumpkins from last year, trust me when I say white pumpkins don’t require nearly as many coats of paint.) You could also add a DIY front porch sign or a hoop wreath for an easy and affordable decor touch. Of course, I’ll be adding more Fall decor ideas and projects once I get my decor finished.
