Nothing makes me happier than styling a great outfit…unless I’m styling that outfit for a trip to Disney World! And while I sadly do not have any trips on the horizon (despite my best efforts), I still like to brainstorm what I would wear. Does that make me a little unhinged? Possibly. But it also means YOU get to benefit from my neurosis because I’m sharing 12 cute & trendy outfits to wear to Disney World. ***If by chance any of these inspire your next Disney World outfit, I’d love it if you tagged me on Instagram so I can see! Want to look like you’re visiting Magic Kingdom circa 1992? Me too! I’m honestly kind of obsessed with the 90s and 2000s fashions coming back into style. Fanny packs? Yes, please. Bucket hats? Why not. Crew socks? Give them to me! And a magical oputfit that combones them all? Perfect! If there’s ever a time to dress like the princess you know you are, it’s at the Magic Kingdom. Plus, comfortable dresses just make sense in the Florida heat and humidity (just don’t forget the thigh stick). I styled this in pink (because I’m also in my Barbie era) but this look can easily be altered to fit any of the princesses. The dress is from Amazon and comes in so many colors. And I’m also going to be reciting this attraction preshow (silently, to myself) every time I ride it. I actually came across these sneakers first and immediately started envisioning this outfit. The colors just fit so perfectly! But they would also work well with a Maleificent Disneybound. Not only are tennis dresses on trend and cute but they’re pretty perfect for a park day! Because they’re designed for being active (although I’ve never worn one while being active) the material typically stands up to sweaty conditions. And most of them have built-in shorts so no thigh chafing! Add a few accessories, like these blinged-out Spaceship Earth ears from Etsy, and you’ve got a park-themed outfit. One of the best things about EPCOT (other than drinking around the world) is the festivals! At almost anytime of the year you choose to visit, you can take in special foods, events, concerts, and more themed around these festivals. And there are endless possibilities for theming an outfit around the festival, like this outfit styled for the Flower & Garden Festival that happens in the spring. There’s no rule that you have to go all out for a Disney outfit. You can go more low-key with your Disney style by pairing your favorite comfy denim shorts with a fun tee shirt and some subtle accessories. I love the retro vibe of this EPCOT t-shirt from Etsy. I think all of us that grew up in the 90s and remember when the first Toy Story movie came out desperately wanted to visit Pizza Planet. So when I saw this t-shirt at Target, I thought a 90s-era pizza delivery outfit would be a total vibe for the parks. This is one I’m definitely bookmarking for my next trip! There are few outfits these days that scream effortlessly cool like the oversized tee and bike shorts. And because, in my opinion, Hollywood Studios is the park with the least amount of opportunities to get out of the sun, this outfit works well for a day at HS. Just don’t forget to pack a portable fan in your bag! Trust me, you’ll thank me later. As much as I adore the old-school Hollywood vibe of this park, the Imagineers really took it up a notch with the immersive theming of Galaxy’s Edge. And, honestly, you can have so much fun creating a Star Wars-themed outfit because the possibilities are endless. This t-shirt from Etsy with Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers stole my heart though and I had to create an outfit around it. If you’ve been around my little corner of social media then you probably already know, Animal Kingdom is my favorite! And I love me an animal print moment. While it might seem like grabbing the low-hanging fruit to dress in animal print at DAK, it’s also an easy theme to incorporate into any style. And it’s perfect if you don’t want to buy a whole new outfit or just wear Disney t-shirts your whole trip. One note: I normally wouldn’t recommend sandals at Disney because you will be walking A LOT. However, a good pair of footbed sandals can be extremely comfortable and supportive. I still vividly remember the first time I rode the Kilimanjaro Safari when I was a teenager and being astounded that the animals were RIGHT THERE! So as a node to a very fond memory and the start of my love for DAK, here’s a super cute safari-themed outfit. And yes, apparently I have a thing about characters holding Mickey balloons. Not so surprising, my favorite park is also home to my favorite attraction. Fun fact: I am terrified of roller coasters. I was in my 20s the first time I worked up enough nerve to ride Expedition Everest. I psyched myself out so bad before we even got on that I had to grab a drink at the Thirsty River Bar the moment we stepped off. Of course, then I turned around and immediately rode it again and the love affair began. Which is why I would definitely wear this outfit as a love letter to my favorite Yeti.
